- Hull and sails may comply with the class rules in force at the time they were certified, or with the current class rules
- Hull appendages and rig shall comply with the current class rules.

- The area of the sail (or parent sail) shall be marked on the sail tack
- Any hollows in the luff or leech of a sail shall be bridged for measurement
