IOMICA submitted Class Rule changes for IRSA approval. This resulted in Proposal 2014-T-IOM-1 IOM emergency rule change July 2014 on 23/07/2014 which was approved on 06/08/2014. The changes will be published by IOMICA in due course. In summary, leech tell tales and wind indicators on shrouds and backstays are permitted.

The Chairman submitted Proposal 2014-S-3: Class Administration on 23/05/2014. This proposal proposes to establish a committee for each of the IRSA International classes which do not have an affiliated International Class Association, pursuant to Article 8 of the IRSA Constitution. This proposal is concerned with setting a up a new page on the IRSA web site to publish all committee business. As the topic had been discussed separately prior to the proposal being proposed and there being no objections, voting on the proposal was immediately commenced. The voting closed on 03/06/2014. The outcome of the vote was 9 in favour, none against. Proposal succeeded.
