65 Class German NCA

On Feb. 3rd 2018 at the AGM of the German Radio Sailing Class Association (DKVRCS) the members voted on adding the new IRSA 65 class to the list of officially recognized classes. Thomas Edom was nominated and received a unanimous vote to be the first 65 class secretary.  As of now, they will start a ranking system and with an established ranking list at the end of the calendar year they will hold the first DSV national championship for the C65 in 2019.

Robert Grubisa joins Technical Committee.

Robert was Chairman of the IRSA Technical Committee until he left to become responsible for technical matters for the IOM class within the IOMICA executive where he has done important work guiding the class through a rule revision and some difficult interpretations. He came to the end of his permitted term of office on the IOMICA executive board and was not eligible for re-election at their recent AGM. This has left him free to join the IRSA Technical Committee.
